Al-Muthanna University is a public university in the city of Samawa, Al-Muthanna, Iraq, established in 2007. MU is organized into 15 faculties: Engineering; Science; Medical; Veterinary; Nursing; Fundamental education; Humanities; Agriculture; Pharmacy; Dentistry; pure science; Finance; law and Sport science.

It is an ambitious university that focuses on delivering high-quality teaching and learning, with a high commitment to the public good.
