Estonian Academy of Arts
About
The Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) offers 19 Master's curricula of which eight are offered for international students, with instruction in English. There are four doctoral programmes that are offered both in Estonian and English. The Academy welcomes students from all over the world for full-time studies as well as exchange studies. We are a member of international art, design and architecture networks such as ELIA, Cumulus, KUNO and participate in the Erasmus as well as Dora programmes. Students engage in partnership projects with health, public and private institutions during their studies, which provides real life experience and often valuable contacts for their professional careers. Several start-up companies and long-term partnerships have been created out of these experiences and opportunities.
Students often begin their careers during internships alongside the EKA alumni in all spheres – architecture bureaus, design offices, museums, art galleries etc. The network is vastly growing and provides invaluable support and a head-start to all active and eager graduates.
