Medical University of Warsaw

The English Division of the Faculty of Medicine was established in 1993. The Division offers medical programs for high school graduates and for college/university graduates. At the end of the program the graduates are awarded the MD degree and receive a medical diploma recognized in the European Union, USA, Canada and most other countries of the world. Foreign students who decide to start their medical education at the Medical University of Warsaw can get a financial support by applying for student loans in their home countries. Basic science and pre-medical training of the English Division students are provided in the form of lectures, seminars and practical classes by more than 70 departments and clinics of the Medical University of Warsaw and affiliated to the University. Clinical training facilities at affiliated hospitals are regularly evaluated in order to ensure the effectiveness and high quality of clinical training.

The English Dentistry Division was established within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.The University offers a 5-year Dental Program to High School graduates. The program adopted to the EU standards provides more than 5000 hours of instruction and 300 ECTS. Total duration of the 5-year dental program is 10 semesters (150 weeks) during which students have lectures, seminars, and practical classes. Upon completion of each year of studies, students are required to take a 4 -week summer practical training which is mandatory and included in the curriculum. Practical trainings can be completed in recognized institutions in native countries of the students.The Graduate obtains a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree and receives a diploma recognized in many countries. The curriculum conforms to the European Union standards of dental programs. 

The English Division of the Faculty of Pharmacy has been engaged in education and research of pharmaceutical sciences, graduating several generations of well-educated pharmacists who have been working in research and development fields as well as in the healthcare system. The faculty is recognized as one of the leading academic centers in Poland.  As the students here you will benefit from the innovative optional teaching programs: analytical pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutical biotechnology, drug design, pharmaceutical cosmetology with esthetic medicine, pharmaceutical and environmental toxicology. A well-equipped library and a recently built recreation center will help you study and keep fit.
