Saint-Petersburg State Forest Technical University named after S.M. Kirova

Citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign countries with higher education and creative achievements in scientific work are admitted to graduate school on a competitive basis. Persons who have not passed the competition are admitted to graduate school on a paid basis with full reimbursement of training costs. Stateless persons are admitted to graduate school on a common basis if there are documents confirming the legality of their stay on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Graduate students enrolled at the expense of budget allocations for admission control figures are paid a scholarship from the day of enrollment.

BASIC STAGES OF TRAINING IN POSTGRADUATE:

- mastering the main educational disciplines (history and philosophy of science, a foreign language, special discipline of a profile, elective disciplines and optional disciplines);

- passing pedagogical and research practices (conducting seminars, laboratory and practical classes; studying the research work of the structural unit);

- writing a literary review;

- conducting experiments and field research;

- presentation of the results of work in the form of scientific articles, their publication (guidelines for the preparation and design of scientific articles in journals)

- writing of a scientific and qualification work (dissertation);

- Pre-defense of the dissertation at the department;

- preparation and passing the state exam;

- Submission of a scientific report on the main results of the prepared scientific and qualification work (dissertation).
