Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is the best university in Belgium, according to the latest version of the QS World University Rankings®.

The university is a non-mover globally since last year’s ranking, meaning it’s the joint 182nd best university in the world, as well as being the best in the country.

Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, VUB scored particularly highly for its ratio of students to faculty members, for which it is ranked 40th in the world.

This good ranking follows the strong performance of the university in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, where it is ranked in the top 100 in the world for communication & media studies.

Universität Wien is the best university in Austria, according to the latest version of the QS World University Rankings®.

The university has risen one place globally since last year’s ranking and is now the 154th best university in the world, as well as being the best in the country.

Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, Universität Wien scored particularly highly for its ratio of international students, for which it is ranked 84th in the world.

This good ranking follows the strong performance of the university in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, where it is ranked in the top 100 in the world for nine different subjects, including history, linguistics, sociology and statistics & operational research.

The university has risen two places globally since last year’s ranking and is now the 20th best university in the world, as well as being the best in the country.

Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, ANU scored particularly highly for its reputation with academics, for which it is ranked 24th in the world.

The university has risen 10 places globally since last year’s ranking and is now the 75th best university in the world, as well as being the best in the country.

Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, Universidad de Buenos Aires scored particularly highly for its reputation with academics, for which it is ranked 44th in the world.

This good ranking follows the strong performance of the university in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, where it is ranked in the top 50 in the world for the following subjects: anthropology, modern languages, sociology and art & design.

ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) is the sixth best university in the world, according to the 2020 edition of the QS World University Rankings®.

It continues ETH Zurich’s proud record of being the best university in Switzerland.

Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, ETH Zurich scored particularly highly for its ratio of international faculty members, for which it is ranked 19th in the world.

This good ranking follows the extremely strong performance of ETH Zurich in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019, where it is ranked first in the world for earth & marine sciences and is ranked in the world’s top ten for several other subjects.
