University of Zanjan

At present, the University of Zanjan has 10000 full time students, including 73% undergraduate, 27% postgraduate students. Moreover, both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered to international students from different continents. The University of Zanjan consists of four main faculties including Agriculture, Engineering, Science and Humanities. The university plans to establish new faculties in the future. The enrolled students in the academic year of 2015- 2016 have been 10000 in 284 undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes which consist of -Bachelor degree (BA/BSc): 7793 students in 67 courses -Master (MA/MSc): 1666 students in 115 courses -PHD Candidates: 336 students in 102 courses The master and PhD degrees are usually completed in two years and four years respectively. All students in different courses need entry exams. International students must be qualified in Persian language and obtain a valid Persian language certificate, which is provided by certified institutes in Iran. All postgraduate students are also required to show their English language qualification based on standard English exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency English, TOLIMO, MSRT and etc.
