Policies aimed at improving the postgraduate education are continuously being reviewed by the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE). ASUE offers Master programs in the following Departments:
Management
Regulation of Economy and International Economic Rеlations
Finance
Marketing and Business Organization
Accounting and Auditing
Computer Science and Statistics
ASUE institute for Postgraduate studies offers Aspirantura (First Doctoral Degree), Applicants’ System program and Doctorate.
Admission and Education processes for Aspirants, Applicants and Doctorates are planned and jointly organized by respective Specialty Chairs (according to the state tertiary/postgraduate level education provisions) issuance.
Post-Graduate Courses both full time and by correspondence are carried out at ASUE. Full time course covers a three year period while correspondence courses last four years.
Based on the RA Minister of Education and Science Decree 740-N dated September 15, 2006 (available in Armenian) a new rule for post-graduate study is adopted. According to this Decree, applicants must take examinations in their major specialties, submit a Certificate of passing a Foreign Language Test (English - IBT; French - TCF; German - TestDaF); and a computer literacy Certificate.
Admission to postgraduate studies is conducted on a competitive basis in following specialties:
General Economics
Economics and Management of Economy and its sphere
Finance, Accounting
International Economics
Mathematical Economics
