European University of Lefke

The European University of Lefke (EUL) is a non-profit state university in North Cyprus which was founded in 1989 by the Cyprus Science Foundation, and opened its campus in 1990. The University's campus is located on a hill in one of the island's richest natural corners, overlooking the local landscape and with a full view of the blue waters of the Mediterranean.  With its quiet and tranquil setting, it offers students a safe and ideal environment to pursue their academic studies. As an international education and research institution, EUL is a leading brand of education in North Cyprus with more than 11,000 students from more than 65 different countries covering five continents. EUL has a modern campus with highly developed infrastructure and internationally renowned academic staff providing the students with academic expertise, professional guidance, recreational facilities and resources to help them on the way to achieve their ambitions in life. EUL has a dynamic education agenda with proactive academic staff organized in peer publications and an innovative education environment delivered on a multi-cultural campus. EUL has considerable number of accredited programs from reputable international accreditation bodies such as MUDEK, MiAK, FIBAA, ASIIN and is also a full member of various international organizations such as IAU, ACE and FUIW. Having 11 faculties, 7 schools and one institute, EUL offers education in 84 associate/undergraduate degree programs and 37 postgraduate/doctoral degree programs. The University and all its academic programs are accredited and quality assured by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey (YOK).
