Welcome to the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Founded in 1972, we stand out as an international school that annually attracts students from all over the world to Lisbon to improve their knowledge and develop their skills in different fields of study, especially in Communication, Culture Studies and Psychology.
With a clear international outlook, the School has built a solid reputation for both its cutting-edge research and its vibrant teaching. Besides attracting faculty members from many different countries, the research produced at our School is widely acknowledged across the national and international scientific communities while many of our teaching programs feature among the very best in the world according to prestigious international rankings.
Such is the case of the MA in Culture Studies that ranks #4 in the world in “Cultural Management/Creative Industries Management” according to Eduniversal. Our MA in Communication Studies also ranks among the Top 12 European master programs in “Corporate Communications” and ranks #19 in the “Marketing” category with an employment rate of 99%.
