HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management, the oldest business school in Germany, offers excellent study facilities for a general management training program of the highest academic standard. Students with leadership qualities are trained to combine good judgement skills and sound business knowledge with their enthusiasm and pleasure to think and perform as entrepreneurs.
Master of Science in Management (M.Sc.)
Program of 18 months and therewith follow in the footsteps of the successful and internationally recognized Diploma Program. The objective of HHL's Master of Science is to prepare students to enter challenging management careers in an international setting. Graduates from this program are expected to be typically placed with leading consulting firms, investment and commercial banks and industrial companies, primarily in German an the rest of Europe.
The objectives of HHL's Master of Science are:
- to promote individual initiative and personal development
- to encourage and enable to work in teams
- to promote ethical and social responsibility
- to prepare to react adequately to a rapidly changing business environment
- to link theory and practice
- to broaden the theoretical and methodological foundation
- to integrate current trends in management
- to take a cross-functional perspective
- to put emphasis on the international context of business
HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management offers both a full- and part-time MSc in Management, lasting between 21 and 30 months. The school is featured in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master's Ranking. The full-time course is comprised of three main components: core modules, elective modules and a thesis. Students also have the opportunity to study abroad for a term, experience at least one professional internship and complete a field project. The entire course is taught in English. Mandatory entry requirements include a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits (90 of which must be completed in business administration), above-average academic performance at both school and university level, a GMAT score of at least 600, a minimum TOEFL score of 96 (or a bachelor's degree completed in English), at least three months of professional experience and A1 certified proficiency in a foreign language (not English or your native language).
