Zurich University of the Arts is based on the concept of providing  ideal setting for transdisciplinary projects and of showcasing the work and achievements of their staff and students in the institution's own exhibition spaces, theatres, and various dance and concert halls.

Here students can find the Theatre of the Arts that presents cutting-edge student productions, concert halls that are home to concerts almost every day, and the Mehrspur Music Club offering a wide variety of pop and jazz concerts. The university if also affiliated with the Museum of Design and the Bellerive Museum in order to present a rich array of acclaimed art and design exhibitions.
