At HKBU, students embark on an inspiring intellectual journey that prepares them not only for a specific career but enables them to be changemakers who contribute to bettering the world. The broad-based, student-centred curriculum covers essential knowledge in arts and sciences, humanities and social sciences, and eastern and western civilisations, and is delivered through research-informed teaching augmented by out-of-classroom learning opportunities. Similarly, great efforts are continuously made to bring foremost scholars and renowned professionals from around the world to HKBU and determined steps are taken to further internationalise the campus at all levels. Pioneering programmes to enhance students’ global outlook include the International Writers’ Workshop, the Pulitzer Prize Winners Workshop and the Consul-General-in-Residence Programme.
