Russian-Armenian University is intergovernmental higher education institution established in 1997 by the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. RAU is one of the leading universities in the South Caucasus region, located in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
RAU offers a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs. The main language of instruction is Russian and Armenian; however, we offer courses English as well. Upon graduation, students receive two Diplomas: Armenian and Russian. The University comprises 31 Departments and 8 Institutes:

RAU is widely recognized for its prominent activity in the regional educational and scientific environment and it continues to expand its work internationally. The University’s growing international network provides students and lecturers with various opportunities for mobility. Departments of RAU Institutes offer the following postgraduate programs: 4 one-cycle MA programs (5 or 6 years), 29 full degrees MA programs with 45 subprograms, 5 part-time MA programs, 5 Double Degree MA programs with 19 subprograms, 54 Ph.D. programs, 6 Doctorate programs. The University offers training in almost all branches of modern science and humanities.
