The Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) is headquartered in of Corrientes and Chaco provinces, with three university campuses, with more locations in rural areas Castelli, General Pinedo, and General San Martin. This area is focused in farming and forest production and improvements in the chain of transformation and diversification of products.
The Universidad Nacional del Nordeste promotes environmental, political productive development (institutional, sociocultural and economic) and has a strengthened space for cooperation with other members of the society.
UNNE supports regional governments and promotes the development and strengthening of the Interoceanic Corridor by association of northern Argentinian universities with those in Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile and Brazil.
Programs are taught in Spanish, however, the university has now launched a Linguistics Competence Program, to encourage and set new teaching languages such as English and Portuguese.
