The Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ), based in São João del-Rei, near the capital Belo Horizonte, is ranked among the best institutions of higher education in the country. The courses are spread across six different campi, three campi located in Sao Joao del-Rei and the other three located in different cities: Divinópolis, Ouro Branco and Sete Lagoas. The courses offered at the headquarters are mostly administered in the evening, allowing students to carry out work activities combined with studies activities.
