Hough Graduate School of Business has specialized master’s programs available in both finance and management, along with various other subjects. The master’s available provide a solid base for a career in either finance or management, and so the school has been recognized in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.
The finance program has various program enhancements, including the Capital Markets Lab, which has nine Bloomberg terminals for use. The lab also has a prominent stock ticker and electronic stock boards, so students can watch market changes in real time. There is the Professional Speaker Series, which brings finance professionals to share their expertise with students. The master’s in management is specifically designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in a non-business subject. The program is available for either part-time or full-time study. There is the opportunity to pursue UF Graduate Certificates alongside the degree, such as the certificate in tourism and hospitality business management.
