The University of Tuzla was founded in 1958. Situated in the city of Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the public university has an academic staff of 500 and just over 10,000 students.Tuzla offers over 80 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.The University of Tuzla has the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology

  • As well as an Academy of Performing Arts

The university offers a number of scholarships through the Erasmus programme and has cooperative agreements with 40 other universities across the world. Student life includes comprehensive sporting facilities especially a strong basketball team, accommodation and libraries.
