The nominal length of the academic Bachelor’s study programme is 3 years and studies give a total of 180 ECTS credit points. Graduates from Bachelor’s programmes are awarded a Bachelor’s degree or bakalaureuse kraad.
The nominal length of the first cycle professional higher education studies depends on the subject area and lasts for 3-4 years, giving 180-240 ECTS credits, leading to a professional higher education diploma called the rakenduskõrgharidusõppe diplom.
After graduating from the first cycle of higher education, either academic or professional, students can continue in the second cycle leading to a Master’s degree.
