Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar

Presently, the university offers postgraduate programs comprising Master`s in 33 (including MBA) and Doctor of Philosophy in 27 disciplines. In both programs, 25% students are admitted through the ICAR representing different states of India. At the beginning of 1 st semester 2015-16, a total No. of 832 students are on roll, comprising of 493 and 339 in M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs, respectively. The Dean, Post-graduate Studies has been entrusted the responsibility of postgraduate teaching at the university in consultation with the Deans of the constituent colleges, Director of Research and Director of Extension Education. Further, Dean is responsible for coordination of research of postgraduate students and its integration with the thrust areas of research.
