PURPAN, founded in 1919 by Jesuit farmers and teachers, educates non-specialised engineers through a 5-year post-baccalauréat course Through success-oriented teaching methods with Ignatian origins: the importance of experimentation, analysis, support and revision, PURPAN's ambition is to foster the development of men and women endowed with a great capacity for action and adaptation, integrating personal commitment, solidarity, a sense of action and a passion for service. Over 300 professions are open to our students in the following sectors: life sciences, agriculture, the food-processing industry, marketing and management.. PURPAN's mission (recognised by the Rocard Law of 1984) is to provide a public service in the fields of training, research, international cooperation and the transfer of technologies.
