The Electronics and Communications Department was established in the year 2003 and now runs one undergraduate, one postgraduate program (M. Tech in MCNT), Ph. D. program also one 3 years diploma program affiliated by WBSCTE. The programs offered by the department are the most sought after branch in Engineering by top WBJEE rank holders and other aspirants from across the country. The department got NBA in 2009 and then again in 2014 for its excellent performance in the arena of technical education. The department has well-equipped Laboratories, qualified and experienced faculty members and technical Staff to educate and train the budding engineers.
