Graduate studies at the University of Hebron started at the faculty of arts in 1997. The first program was an MA in Arabic language and literature . Next year, the faculty of Islamic studies (Alsharia) launched an MA program in Islamic judiciary.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at Hebron University was established in 2001. The main objectives were , and will be, the supervision and coordination of graduate programs and the cooperation with others faculties to launched new MA programs. New programs were added as follows: Plant Protection(2002), Natural Agricultural Resources and it's Sustainable Management(2002), Business Administration MBA, (2004) , Applied Linguistics and the Teaching of English Language(2006), History(2007) , Fundamental of Islamic Law- Usol Al Deen , (2010), Mathmatics (2014) and Chemistry (2014),

Currently ,the Deanship of Graduate Studies , offers Tenth MA programs and these programs may , in some cases , lead to a higher diploma degree .
