1. Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech.)

Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines.

The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided design, and product life cycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment, and others.

The Department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. Civil engineering degree graduates are the brains behind all the largest and most essential structures that surround us – buildings, transport networks, energy and water supplies and so their value within society is great.

2. Computer Engineering (B.Tech.)

This has been one of the most demanding, popular, lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering schools, colleges and universities.

Induction of new technical courses from time to time enables the students to keep abreast of recent technological development. The Department has always strived for excellence and promoting live IDP (Industry Define Projects) for students of 7th and 8th semester of UG and 3rd and 4th semester students for their PG courses.

3. Electronics and Communication Engineering (B.Tech.)

Electronics and Communication Department at SAL-Institute of Technology and Engineering Research was established in the year 2009 for Under Graduate (UG) and year 2012 for Post Graduate (PG). It will be offering a bachelors degree as well as master degree course in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

SAL-Institute of technology and engineering research is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and offers four years bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and two years master degree for the same for specifically designed to reflect the profundity and breadth of Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 120 in UG and 18 in PG.

4. Instrumentation and Control Department (B.Tech.)

The Department of Instrumentation and Control started in the year 2014 in SAL technical campus. The Undergraduate programmes offered by the department are accredited by the GTU and AICTE. The department boasts qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty to impart fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of Industrial Automation, Process Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Systems Engineering and Biomedical Instrumentation. The department focuses on preparing the students to meet global industrial challenges.

5. Electrical Engineering (B.Tech.)

The Electrical department focuses on overall development of students of Electrical Engineering and incessantly puts them through various shop floor training and industrial exposure. The department believes in practical and applicable knowledge rather than cramping up the engineering principles.

The committed faculty members are constantly encouraged to undergo Faculty Development Programs and Research Activities. The students are also encouraged for innovative research and projects. The department compels students of the Electrical engineering to use maximum laboratory facilities and enhance their knowledge by hard and smart work....
