To ensure all students the opportunity to pursue the objectives of a liberal education, a common core of courses ranging from 41-54 credits in liberal education is maintained as a foundation for all degree programs. This component of the university's curriculum is designated by the term "Liberal Education Program (LEP). The university offers undergraduate bachelor's degree programs in liberal arts and in professional studies, and bachelor of science degrees in education with teacher certification.
