Tafila Technical University (TTU) is a public university in the town of Tafila, Jordan, which was established in 2005. The university has around 6,000 students spread out across seven colleges, each with their own academic departments. It offers bachelor’s degrees, two-year intermediate diploma programs, higher diplomas and master’s degrees. TTU’s campus has undergone a recent boom in construction, with an integrated sports complex (the biggest of its kind at all Jordanian institutions), a building for the computer center and admissions department, and a new amalgamation of halls and classrooms. The university is also located near a number of prominent industrial companies.
