In 2012, the Graduate School of Tokyo Kasei University was reorganized to form the Graduate School of Humanities and Life Sciences through the integration of the graduate-level School of Home Economics and the School of Humanities. The integration of the Graduate School of Home Economics and the Graduate School of Humanities has enabled interdisciplinary study within the Graduate School of Humanities and Life Sciences with a broad coverage of multifaceted fields. The Graduate School of Humanities and Life Sciences offers six master’s programs—Master’s Program in Child Care, Education and Science; Master’s Program in Health and Nutrition; Master’s Program in Clothing & Art; Master’s Program in English Language and Culture; Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology; and Master’s Program in Education and Social Welfare—as well as a doctoral program in Human Life Sciences. The names of the master’s programs correspond to the names of the undergraduate schools that form their foundation.
