a) The Autonomous University of Campeche is a leader in the investigation of Mayan culture. Annually, UACAM holds the Meeting of Mayan Culture Researchers, an event of great international prestige, which brings together numerous archaeologists, sociologists, historians and specialists from all over the world interested in the research of this ancentral culture.
