The University of Macerata looks into the future and considers education as a tool to develop the students’ own cultural identity and to pursue a professional career.
In the academic year 2012/2013, the University offers 13 undergraduate programmes, 14 postgraduate degree programmes, 2 one-block programmes, 3 international joint degree programmes (Cultural Heritage Management with the University Pierre Mendés-France of Grenoble, France, Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation with the University Blaise Pascal, France, and Planning and Management of Tourism Systems with the University of Oviedo, Spain), 1 postgraduate degree programme entirely taught in English (International Economic and Trade Relations), 4 Summer Schools and a range of programmes and courses organised by the Doctoral School and the Confucius Institute.
The key strengths of these courses are high-quality teaching, the close relationship between students and lecturers, and the lively exchange of ideas during lectures and workshops.
The University of Macerata promotes excellence in teaching innovation: several degree programmes are available not only in traditional mode, but also with an e-learning option.
