班加西大学

The University of Benghazi (UoB) was established on December 15, 1955. It was then named the Libyan University. The nucleus of the University was the Faculty of Arts and Education, which included 31 students, 6 professors and 9 administrative staff members at that time. Now, the UoB includes 23 faculties 230 departments and centers. It has many campuses and scientific institutes inside Benghazi; as its total area is about 500 hectares. The University of Benghazi has approximately 85,000 undergraduate students as well as 3000 graduate students.
