The University of Danang

     The  University of Danang (UD) is a regional multi-level,  multi-disciplinary university with high autonomy.

      UD is one of the first universities in Vietnam to apply the credit system (2006), which maximizes its positive role to be chosen as a place to deploy advanced programs, high-quality programs, and transfer programs domestically and internationally.

      With 22 doctoral programmes, 44 master programmes (04 international joint programmes), UD has been continuously innovating and developing training programs, accreditation and committing to reach the domestic and international quality standards according to the development strategy of the Research-Oriented University. In addition, UD has closely cooperated with businesses to consult and forecast labor market demand, thereby adjusting the industry structure, training size, and enrollment targets. UD is focusing on a number of key disciplines, especially on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM); developing fundamental sciences, engineering and technology disciplines; raising qualified human resources to adapt to the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

      Through international cooperation activities, UD has attracted many leading Vietnamese scientists and experts from overseas as well as international ones to participate in teaching and research, contributing to renew training programmes, improve the quality of training and scientific research in accordance with regional and international standards. Moreover, UD has focused on building, expanding and developing cooperative relationships with enterprises in teaching, scientific research, and technology transfer; strengthened the quality management of output to ensure the quality of human resource training for socio-economic development and international integration.

      With a commitment to quality assurance in education, UD is constantly striving to create the ideal environment to help learners develop their self-learning ability, improve their virtue, and develop professional skills. The curriculum is designed scientifically, carefully, flexible to meet the domestic and international standards (04 member-universities accredited and recognized to reach national standards, 01 member - university accredited and recognized to reach the international accreditation standard by the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES)). UD has also implemented the joint training program under the form of in-service courses with many continuing education centers in provinces, cities, and universities, colleges, in Vietnam. UD member universities have cooperated with different universities in the world for many years and deployed international programs, affiliate program 2+2, 3+2, etc, With the long-lasting international cooperation of hundreds of prestigious universities and educational institutions around the world, learners will receive a valid diploma to work or transfer to higher education in Vietnam and in other foreign universities, thereby satisfying the highest knowledge and occupational needs.
