The University of Messina offers 44 undergraduate degree programmes  (3-year long Bachelor's Degree) in the most-requested professional fields for the global market: business, management, biomedical sciences, law, foreign languages, psychology, performing arts, engineering, computer and many others.   

There are also 7  single cycle programmes that combine a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree which last from 5 to 6 years.  The Single Cycle Degree programme in Medicine and Surgery taught in English is of particular interest for those who want to pursue a medical career. 

All bachelor's degree programmes have been designed to respond to the academic and professional needs of student.  Upon completion of the programme, students may continue their studies in Master's Degree programmes.  UniME graduates have a legal right to apply for employment in all 26 countries belonging to the Schengen Area. 

Numerous opportunities are available for international exchange in 25 European countries within the Erasmus+  mobility for study and training.  The University of Messina also offers various programmes worldwide in international exchange outside of the EU. One flagship programme is called "Students around the World" which offers the opportunity to study in 12 countries from North Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Central Europe and Latin America.
