Strathclyde offers a flexible, innovative learning environment with a first-class student experience. The QAA review awarded us the highest possible ratings for teaching quality. Employers value our graduates not only for their academic achievements but also their all-round experience. As a student at Strathclyde, you will have access to: interactive classrooms, digital design facilities and labs, top-flight engineering simulators, multi-million pound chemical engineering facilities, laser and photonics facilities, campus-wide wireless internet access and numerous computer labs. Exchange opportunities are available worldwide, for which students receive full academic credit without extended study.
The undergraduate experience is also supported by first-class IT services including: more than 1,500 campus PCs in more than 30 labs; a dedicated 24/7 IT helpdesk; access to MyPlace, a virtual e-learning environment and a mobile app for information on the go.
Approximately 45,000 students at the university study part-time in the evenings, at weekends and through distance learning. Around 4,000 of our students are mature students and nearly 10% are overseas students from more than 100 countries.
