Industrial University of Tyumen (IUT)

A list of training fields is extensive: 52 fields of Master’s training in petroleum engineering, offshore drilling, geosteering, geology, mechanical engineering, chemical technology, techno-sphere safety, transportation processes, civil engineering and construction, and other fields. IUT  realizes  also programs  of  short-term  traineeships  for  Master’s  degree  and  post  graduate  students  according  to request of university partners (including programs conducted in English language).There are 23 programs of Doctoral studies realized at IUT. The young scientists of the University take part in the implementation of the scientific-and-technical programs and grants at the federal level, as well as in the scientific-research and experimental design works as per order of industrial enterprises and unions. The main customers of the University are the petroleum complex enterprises, including: "Transneft", "Gazprom", "LUKOIL", "Schlumberger", "Rosneft" and others. The University has patented more than 850 inventions; there is also some experience in their introduction.
