Industrial University of Tyumen (IUT)

Industrial University ofTyumen is one of the largest research and educational complexes in Russia,which provides a wide range of opportunities for education. The university  implements 74 programs of Bachelor Degree in the field of petroleum  engineering, geology, mechanical engineering, materials science and technology,design and technology support of engineering productions, energy and resource  saving processes, automation of technological processes, business Informatics,chemical technology, technosphere safety, transportation processes,architecture and construction, informatics,  etc.

IUT cooperates very  strong with industrial partners. On the one hand, it’s mean cooperation in the  employment of graduates (in some fields 100% employment), on the other hand,cooperation in the issues of staff retraining of the companies.  Some of industrial partners take also part in  educational programs: we are talking about a form of dual training, when partof the curriculum is mastered directly in practical activities in the  enterprise partner. Today there are 11 practice-oriented educational programs.
