Izhevsk State Technical University named after M.T. Kalashnikova

Kalashnikov ISTU is rapidly developing research and education system, aimed at the highest results of world level and is the leading research and methodological center of Russia in training specialists of instrumentation and mechanical engineering, mechatronics and robotics, computer and automotive engineering, management and economics, civil engineering and natural sciences. The University is training engineers of 6 specialties, 48 Bachelor programs, 37 Master programs, 27 Graduate and Doctoral programs. The University has a State accreditation. Seven programs of Bachelor and Master Courses passed the procedure of international accreditation in the Central Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (ZEvA) (Germany). According to the rating agency “Expert RA” ISTU took 66th place (2019). Kalashnikov ISTU has a number of bachelor and master programs running in English, as well as double degree programs. Currently over 320 international students from 41 countries are educated at the University.
