Kalashnikov ISTU is rapidly developing research and education system, aimed at the highest results of world level and is the leading research and methodological center of the Russia in training the specialists of instrumentation and mechanical engineering.The University is training the engineers of 8 specialties, 49 Bachelor programs, 38 Master programs, 52 Graduate programs and 14 Doctoral programs.The University has a State accreditation.Seven programs of Bachelor and Master Courses passed the procedure of international accreditation in the Central Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (ZEvA) (Germany, Lower Saxony, Hannover).According to the rating agency “Expert RA” ISTU took 66th place (2012).
