Work assignment of future specialists takes place a year before graduation – hundreds of employers from different cities of Russia and near-abroad countries come annually to the university Fair of Students. The first Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Eduard Rossel graduated from Mining university. It took Denis Pasler, a graduate of the faculty of Mining Technology, only ten years to become the Chairman of the Regional Government.
