Tashkent state university of Law (TSUL) is one of the leading universities in Uzbekistan, renowned as a national center of legal science and education, which prestige extends far beyond the borders of the Republic.

The university includes 12 specialized and 3 general departments, the Center for the professional training of legal personnel in accordance with international standards, the Specialized Branch for training and retraining of legal personnel in the field of crime prevention and public safety and the Academic Lyceum. The university also provides guidance and coordination of 14 law colleges included in the system of educational institutions of the Ministry of Justice, since the university is under the authority of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rector of the university holds the post of the Deputy Minister of Justice.

Teaching staff of the university consists of more than 250 employees, of which more than 20 doctors of sciences, 60 candidates of sciences, 20 professors, 30 associate professors.

The university prepares specialists in the field of jurisprudence for all structures of state power, as well as private structures. Currently, about 3600 students are studying at the university, including 124 master candidates.

The university is renowned for its achievements in the field of legal training and is among the TOP best universities in the country. Training is conducted in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English. To study in English, one must confirm that you have knowledge of the English language with the valid IELTS certificate attached, in the absence of a certificate, an English language exam at the university needs to be taken.

The university implements a two-stage system of education which meets the modern standards:

• the first stage - preparation of bachelors (4 years in full-time);

• second stage - training of master candidates in the selected master's program (1 year).

TSUL international cooperation is based on more than 30 agreements with foreign universities in Europe, Asia, America, research centers and research institutes, as well as embassies, international research and educational foundations.

Among the partner universities of TSUL are; universities Osaka and Nagoya (Japan), the School of Law at Boston College (USA), the University of Law of Great Britain, the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer and the German Research Institute of Public Law Management (FRG), Regensburg University ( Germany), Shanghai University of Politics and Law (PRC), Ural State Law University (RF), Polotsk State University (Republic of Belarus), Kazakh State Law University named after Narikbaeva (Kazakhstan) and many other universities.

Within the framework of the concluded Memoranda, an academic exchange of students and teachers is carried out, joint research and internships are conducted.
