The ESPE - Army Polytechnic School is an institution of higher education located in Sangolquí (Quito - Ecuador). It originated in the Official School of Engineering, created on June 16, 1922. It currently has offices in Sangolqui (principal), Latacunga, Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas. It is one of the colleges most prestigious of Ecuador, the National Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education of Ecuador, in 2009 placed it in the category "A", the highest rating given to 11 institutions the country and only behind two polytechnics. Additionally, the extended CONEA Accreditation letter to the Army Polytechnic on January 7, 2010. Since 2012 belongs to the Ecuadorian Network of Universities for Research and Graduate Studies.
